The Hood.e concept, which was designed by Tim Dubitsky, was originally conceived as a present for his music-loving nephew. The idea was to make it easier for the little boy to cross dangerous thoroughfares on his way to school and still remain aware of street noise around him while listening to music.
The Hood.e has the speakers embedded in the hood, negating the need for earbuds, headphones and cords and the user can still remain aware of what is going on around him/her.
