Architecture firm LOHA finishes the South E8 housing block and it is defined by various elements including the metal cladding and high sculptural asymmetrical roof. The block is located in Raleigh, USA, and features eight apartments in total.
It takes over what was once a single home in the neighborhood -- the city was highly sought after after its booming growth of tech and research industries. Additionally, as a response to this, there was a higher demand for housing in the area. The design team explains the location choice, stating "As one of the fastest growing cities in the country, Raleigh is experiencing the need for housing densification and is fostering new centers for community growth."
