Italian architectural company M.A.Di created an unfolding modular solar-powered structure.
This home can be permanent or temporary with it's easy-to-build construction system. All a-frames are earthquake resistant, are built for most environments, and M.A.Di buildings don't require a foundation. This means they also don't require any soil, helping to maintain their environmental surroundings.
Completely customizable, these houses are comfortable, cozy and safe spaces. With water, electrical, HVAC and sanitary systems pre-installed, each house can be unfolded and set up in 6-7 hours. The structure also comes with a staircase, connecting the main floor to the loft. The addition to featuring solar panels on the roof and structural walls, these houses convert into an entirely self-sustainable structure. Additionally, all M.A.Di homes can be connected allowing them to be expandable.
The smallest M.A.Di home is available for around $34,000 with all construction prices included.
