Probably the worst thing that can happen is when you go camping with a bunch of buddies and someone brings a stereo but forgets the batteries. With the solar powered log radio you can leave those Duracells at home.
The solar powered log radio actually has a secondary fuel source: dynamo power. The bottom button on the log has an indent which is used for a crank to power the radio on cloudy days. The top two buttons control the volume and the frequencies. Comprised of 80% wood and 20% traditional parts, the radio was designed by Solène le Goff and Christophe Gouache.
The good news is that if you can’t get any stations up in the woods, you can always use the solar powered log radio for firewood.
