This Portable Solar Module, designed by Yeh ShuHung and Hu SiQi, is a solar energy concept that could harness energy to charge everyday technologies.
The modules would work by having the ability to fold out to harness the sun's energy, and then the ability to fold back up so that the user can carry the solar panel around. What gives these solar panels the ability to connect is a spindle, and the solar panels "can be rotated 180 degrees." It would then be able to power electronic devices such as phones, cameras and tablets.
This portable solar energy concept would be excellent for people who spend plenty of time outdoors and would like to remain 'plugged in,' or need power in case of an emergency. Avid campers, tourists, people in the military and people who enjoy outdoor sports could all benefit from these Portable Solar Modules.
