Spoon-inspired Seasoners

The Sogum Huchuhuchu by Jaemin Jaeminlee Offers Cooks More Control

Adding the right amount of seasoning to a dish can be easy or hard depending on the receptacle it resides in; Sogum Huchuhuchu is a design that makes adding a dash so easy, cooks can probably use it with their eyes closed. And that's risky when it comes to that extra bit of salt.

Created by Jaemin Jaeminlee, a designer based in South Korea, the Sogum Huchuhuchu is clearly modeled after a spoon. By being so, it allows users to deposit small amounts of the seasoning in the recessed area in order to avoid any unwanted accidents. Thus the Sogum Huchuhuchu gives the cook more control while also providing a visual cue for future recipe references.
