Sleek and contemporary, the SodaStream Source is a face-lifted version of the original carbonating kitchen appliance. SodaStream commissioned San Francisco designer Yves Behar to create something that was a treat for the eyes as much as it was for the mouth. The result is as refreshing as an ice cold drink.
The SodaStream Source is set to be unveiled at MOST, a sci-tech museum based in Milan, Italy, later this month. According to a museum representative, "Béhar's concept re-examines every element of the SodaStream system, including the interface, design and material selection, redefining the way it is used."
The device boasts a reusable bottle that locks into the base so the CO2 canister can do its work. It is controlled via a LED display.
