The Socket Like Brick Lets You Downsize Your Energy Strip

The cumbersome design of the power strip has been given a contemporary makeover in the form of the Socket Like Brick. The Socket Like Brick is a power strip that allows you to remove and rearrange its modules to provide only the power you need.

The Socket Like Brick was designed by Chih-Yao Chen. Each brick of this design can be removed so that it can function as its own miniature power strip. Being able to add and remove sections of a power strip is an awesome design, as it lets you cut the often too long power strip down to size. It also encourages you to plug in only the devices you need. I can't be the only one who plugs 10 gadgets into a power strip and only uses three of them.
