With the goal of clearing off more space on her desk, Eden Law began with a pipe mounted horizontally on the wall, and proceeded to craft a disjointed surface of wooden panels. Two dips were constructed in the continuous timber form, intended to hold books upright and a penholder. Stacked surfaces invite the placement of flat-laid reading materials, boxes and decorative objects. Clamps hold the Snake Shelf in place to keep everything secure and at eye level.
