The amateur division was won by Steven Dorgo, who consumed eight pounds in six minutes.
In addition to dealing with the threat posed by their competitors and the inherent difficulties of shoving massive amounts of fries, gravy and cheese down your throat, contestants also had to deal with inclement weather, with rain and chilly winds making proceedings even more extreme than expected.
