Google recently added its AI-integrated SmartReply feature to the YouTube platform. The SmartReply feature was initially launched in Gmail, Android Messages, and other places. It is being used now on YouTube to make it easier for creators to interact with viewers, however, the feature had to be updated specifically for YouTube. Creators can easily respond to comments quickly with basic replies, like "Thank You!," "More to Come!" and others.
In order to create the feature for YouTube, the company had to train the AI on the platform to create replies that would make sense. Initially, it will be only available for Spanish and English comments, however, in the future more languages could be added.
