The new HTC Magic rocking an Android OS is making a name for itself months before its actual release date.
Although that date is still unknown, it is rumored that the Magic Android phone will be in stores across the world by the end of the year.
The HTC Magic features a 3.2-inch, 320x480 touchscreen with a trackball and enter button slightly beneath.
It comes with 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as a 3.2 megapixel auto-focusing camera.
The battery life is mediocre at best but with proper charging and power save options (like dimming screen, turning off 3G radio) it should be a feature that won’t be the death of the phone.
The home screen allows you to add widgets based on personal preferences which is always a positive feature of a smartphone.
The phone does the trick (more than others) and the Android 1.5 OS is impressive to say the least.
