Razer has announced a new smart webcam geared specifically for the gamer community as well as streamers.
Built on Intel's RealSense SR300 imaging sensors and dubbed Stargazer, this webcam offers 720 p resolution at 60 fps, which is an exact match for the frame rate of modern video games. The camera boasts an automatic noise-cancelling dual array mic so any sounds made by the user aren't drowned out by ambient sound. This smart webcam also offers a background removal feature that automatically cuts the background from the video without using a physical green screen.
Mostly importantly, the Stargazer can track up to 78 points on the user's face and 22 points on each of their hands. This allows users to launch applications with the movement of their hand or unlock their computer just by looking at it.
