A U.K.-based startup by the name of CrownCruiser is looking to shake up the two-wheeler sector with the launch of a smart e-bike that blends spectacular performance specs with an array of extra features, all in a low-weight package.
This particular smart e-bike can be purchased with either a 250-watt or 750-watt pedal assist setup, with the latter offering assistive thrust in the range of 50 km/h. The top area of the e-bike also offers tech-focused amenities such as a charging station for a smartphone, not to mention the ability to swap out batteries. Elsewhere, the CrownCruiser also offers Bluetooth functionality, a companion smartphone app and rider recognition systems for security.
Weighing in at only 55 pounds thanks to generous use of carbon fiber, the CrownCruiser is a fine example of how smart e-bikes can load in the features whilst still keeping their weight down.
