Small Job Paint Packaging Emphasizes the Approachable Paint Chip

Small Job Paint packaging appeals to the consumer directly thanks to some clever rebranding efforts by Colin Downing and Natasha Alimova of Redfire. Paint Aids Ltd (PAL) changed this range's name from Real Colour'z to a much more direct Small Job, considering the fact that most people were buying these products for their own domestic endeavors.

The image of the pigment series was greatly simplified by making the base shade of the labels white. Minimal text and intuitive icons are printed in black so that the entire circumference of Small Job Paint packaging is easily read and understood. The defining feature of the new identity is the paint swatch that appears front and center on each paint can. It's that colorful symbol of the first step that a person takes when contemplating a redecoration project.
