This slot PC is named the 'SLP-WHG' and it contains several features geared towards industrial enhancement and production efficiency. The SLP-WHG incorporates an 'EtherCAT' card in its PCI-E port, which allows for the integration of hardware and software elements to enable high-performance industrial automation. Avalue notes that EtherCAT cards increase the production efficiency of a slot PC by 30% over a non-EtherCAT PC.
On top of EtherCAT functionality, the SLP-WHG is designed specifically for industrial environments.
