Trinity River Vision Authority on Panther Island has set up a massive slip and slide that holds the official Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled. The super lengthy slip and slide journey took one hour and raveled about 774,515 meters.
This is an extremely long time to travel down one single water slide. The previous record was 41,404 meters, which is nowhere close to the new record.
The previous record-holding trip was taken one year ago so perhaps next summer we can expect to see another attempt to beat the longest water slide ride. The best part of this record-breaking title is that the community members were able to partake in the summer fun together.
