The SKY Magnetar Travels at Five-Times the Speed of Sound

The SKY Magnetar hypersonic airplane has been conceptualized by Oscar Viñals as a futuristic transportation solution that would transform the capabilities of pilots and travelers alike. The airplane measures in at 112-meters in length and features four wings, which combine to give it inherent aerodynamics that can support speeds unlike what has been possible in the past. The airplane features two cycle engines powered by hydrogen that would enable it to travel at Mach 5 speed (6,174kph).

The SKY Magnetar hypersonic airplane maintains a blade-less engine configuration that feeds the airflow into the turbofan engines via the outside of the main engine body. The plane would accommodate between 100 to 120 passengers in a windowless cabin that would be pressured due to the cruising altitude.
