The Sirius 16 Gen 1 is a Linux gaming laptop from Tuxedo Computers that features an all-AMD configuration. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, which has 8 cores, 16 threads, and a maximum boost frequency of 5.1 GHz. The laptop also has the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics card, which is based on the RDNA 3 architecture and has 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. The laptop has a 16.1-inch WQHD IPS display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a color gamut of 100% sRGB, and a brightness of 300 nits. The laptop has a robust and sleek aluminum chassis, a per-key RGB keyboard, and a multi-gesture clickpad. The laptop also has a 80 Wh battery, which can last up to 10 hours in idle mode or up to 6 hours in office work.

The Sirius 16 Gen 1 is available for pre-order on Tuxedo Computers’ website from November 25th, 2023. The base model, which comes with 16 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and 500 GB of Samsung 980 SSD, costs around 1430 EUR (excluding VAT). The laptop can be customized with up to 96 GB of RAM and up to 4 TB of SSD storage. The laptop also supports dual-channel memory and dual M.2 SSD slots. The first deliveries of the laptop are expected to start in mid-December 2023. The Sirius 16 Gen 1 is the world’s first AMD Linux gaming laptop and aims to offer a high-performance and flexible gaming experience for Linux enthusiasts.
