The restaurant opened its second location in Greenwich Village with the help of the architecture firm Buro Koray Duman. The pizzeria is situated on University Place and occupies the ground floor of a 19th-century building that once housed the famed Hotel Albert.
Bura Koray Dunman, whose offices are in Manhattan and Istanbul, designed the space to celebrate historic New York and Naples in one cohesive design. The pizzeria features an open kitchen and shelving made from Italian volcanic stone for a sophisticated yet welcoming design. The kitchen's design was inspired by the traditional outdoor kiosks found in Naples.SIMO Pizza's Greenwich Village location takes up 1,400 square feet.
