Bill Gates has just invested some of his billions of dollars into the Silver Linings Artificial Clouds concept, which aims to aid in climate change. The project comprises ships, which house machines that turn seawater into climate-altering fake clouds.
The machines essentially suck up seawater in ridiculous quantities, which then turn the water into "minute particles that are then flown through the air some 3,000 feet high. High enough to increase cloud density."
The Silver Linings Artificial Clouds project will start with just 10 ships, and hopefully grow from there. Pretty rad!
