The foodpod™ is a silicone cooking pod that allows cooks to save time boiling, blanching or steaming. The foodpod can be filled with foods like veggies, eggs, or shellfish, then dropped into a pot of boiling water to cook. A small hook allows the pod to hang from the edge of the cooking pot. When the food is cooked, the foodpod can be lifted from the water. Its strainer construction allows water to easily drain from the food.
The 1.75 quart foodpod is made of non-stick, food-safe silicone and will not scratch pots or harm food. It is top rack dishwasher safe and sells for about $15.
