Sigg Customer Receives Renumeration for Tainted Containers

Some consumers are upset with the water bottle company SIGG, after its announcement that some of its older containers may contain the harmful BPA component in the liners. To quell one particular SIGG customer, the company gave her a $50,000 gift card (presumably to buy more SIGG bottles?).

As the Consumerist says, after a female SIGG customer returned two of her tainted bottles and bought two more with her previous store credit, "something went horribly wrong, and now she has a store credit for just under $50,000."
