Rotated Interior Coffee Houses

D'espresso Sideways Library Cafe is a New Spin on Coffee Shop Decor

Located in Manhattan, this sideways library cafe named D'espresso is definitely a new spin on interior design. Undertaken by designer Anurag and his colleagues at Nemaworkshop, this design looks as though a library was rotated 90 degrees onto its side.

Tiles on the walls are made to look like sepia library shelves and a herringbone dark wood floor. The entrance wall has frosted glass windows that appear to be the ceiling of the tipped over room. Patrons can sit and have their coffee in an optical illusion, giving this cafe a creative charm that sets it apart from the plethora of competitors in NYC.

Modern branding and marketing is about selling an experience to a client, not just a product. The sideways library cafe is a great example of standing out by creating a memorable and entertaining brand image.
