Mark Zuckerberg Plans to Shut Down Facebook for Earth Hour

Eco-conscious neo-nerd Mark Zuckerberg is planning to shut down Facebook for Earth Hour. As per the request of a group on Facebook, Mr. Social Network himself will be "turning off" Facebook for one hour on Sunday March 26th 2011 at 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

The purpose of this plan to shut down Facebook is to raise awareness for global change and for people to pull themselves away from Facebook and into mother nature for one whole hour. Everyone from Oprah to Sarah Silverman have "liked" the shut down Facebook page. I plan to do the same.
