Danish designer Arne Jacobsen has created a shrunken down wall clock version of a wristwatch that adds a nostalgic feeling to any outfit. With multiple wrist-adorning accessories and smartwatches now available Jacobsen wanted to turn back time for a retro-inspired watch.
This shrunken down wall clock called Banker is a contemporary wrist piece that maintains the original styles of a wall clock. It has a concave watch face and square hands that read the time. The numbers on the perimeter of Banker look like columns of small empty boxes that tell time based on which box is shaded in.
The watch is made of stainless steel with a gold mesh wristband. It is water-resistant and features a hardened mineral glass face. It is sold online and in stores through Rosendahl.
