A captivating and highly distinctive film focusing on something that grows in the dark is Ford Canada's way of bringing its efforts to be a leader in the rapidly growing EV market into the light.
As part of its partnership with agency partner BBDO Canada, the auto brand created a short film called 'Mushroom' with Chilean-American director Danilo Parra. Parra has directed commercials for Nordstrom, Apple, and A$AP Rocky, as well as videos for Weezer and A$AP Rocky. The video will be available through Bell Media's Crave streaming service and YouTube.
No Ford vehicles are shown in the nearly seven-and-a-half-minute film, but the nighttime shoot was powered entirely by Ford Electrified Vehicles, including the F-150 Lightning® and two E-Transits. "It’s pretty liberating, allowing us to film wherever we want," says Parra.
