Spaceship-Inspired Shoe Stores

Architect Zaha Hadid Designed this Shoe Boutique in Hong Kong

Zaha Hadid has completed the latest shoe boutique for Stuart Weitzman in Hong Kong.

The boutique is located in Hong Kong's IFC shopping mall and is surrounded by glass walls to maximize the exposure to window shoppers that are passing by. It's a busy retail environment, so every bit of exposure goes a long way. Hadid says, "the adaptive design of the IFC store expresses the dynamism of the city and reflects the quality and craftsmanship of Stuart Weitzman's shoes."

The interior has sleek cream colored shoe stands with metallic accents. There are flowing metal loops lit throughout the store. The combination of plain colors and metallic accents gives the boutique a look that's beyond modern.
