The #SHARETHEMICNOW campaign is set to amplify the voices of Black activists and influencers on social media, who will be sharing their stories as anti-racism protests continue throughout the United States.
In this unique Instagram-based initiative, 46 Black women will be taking over the accounts of 46 White women with extensive social followings, using their platforms and followers to spread awareness and to share their voices. Some examples of the takeover pairings include Black Lives Matter co-founder Opal Tometi taking over model Ashley Graham's page, and fashion and beauty editor Kahlana Barfield Brown taking over Julia Roberts' page. Additional participants include Kourtney Kardashian and Hilary Swank.
The one-day #SHARETHEMICNOW campaign will take place on June 10th.
