The Shallows Vase invites you to get a little more carried away than usual. When filling this stem holder with liquid, the idea is to pour it in to the point that it begins to overflow and drip down the sides.
Critiba Design + Direction have made this tumbler-like vase out of transparent glass. Look closely and you'll see that it comprises a narrow tube layer on the inside of the wider set outer vessel. This composition makes it possible to place flowers and branches in the middle of the Shallows Vase and have them stand straight up. With the glass full and a risen meniscus, it appears as though the blossoms are emerging from a puddle.
