Shake Shack and Delta announced a new partnership that will see the former brand's signature burgers headed to in-flight food menus to provide passengers with a familiar dining experience at 30,000-feet.
The partnership is slated to start with Delta flights from Boston on December 1, 2024 before expanding to additional markets and flights in 2025. The partnership will see First Class passengers able to pre-select a Shake Shack Cheeseburger as their meal option on flights over 900 miles.
Managing Director of Onboard Service Stephanie Laster spoke on the Shake Shack and Delta partnership saying, "A delicious cheeseburger is an iconic comfort food – our customers know that which is why burgers are one of the top ordered menu items we offer, and we’re thrilled to elevate the offering with Shake Shack. However, our partnership with Shake Shack goes beyond the burger. Shake Shack’s people-first culture and commitment to enriching their neighborhoods are spot on with our own brand values of service excellence and helping the communities we serve."
