Las Vegas-based sneaker retailer Feature works alongside footwear label Saucony in reimagining its Shadow 6000 sneakers. The main inspiration for this iteration is the Ichthyosaur, which was a large marine animal from millions of years ago, as well as Nevada's state fossil. This is mainly translated through the tonal colorway as it boasts a dark green aesthetic to recall the water reptile.
The latest Shadow 6000 shoes have an upper constructed with a blend of suede and nubuck in Beryl tones along with waterproof paneling details. To stand out, there are holographic accents in place of Saucony's iconic dot details. The outsoles see a gradient speckling detail with an alternating color medial. Additional touches include large stitching along the forefoot and heel counter. As another nod to the overall fossil theme, the Saucony wings boast a special fossilized version. The shoes will be available in-store beginning June 22nd and online the following day.
