Designed by architecture studio Evolution Design, this serpentine home in Switzerland overlooks Lake Zurich and has a unique white "ribbon" that connects and flows throughout the exterior of the home.
The serpentine home has three floors, each of which has glass windows instead of walls. The defining feature of the home is the snake-like white ribbon that works as the base and ceiling for each floor of the house and is even designed with snake-like scales on its surface. While the large windows and lack of walls would surely pose a privacy issue, the unique quality of the house and the surrounding waterfront views give it an excellent excuse to be designed almost entirely with windows.
This unique home and its serpentine quality makes it an exceptional piece of architecture.
