The 'Seoul Ring' is a spokeless ferris wheel slated to provide visitors to the South Korean capital with a way to enjoy uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. Slated to be constructed starting in 2025, the Ferris Wheel appears as a large ring on the horizon that positions the 36 glass carriages around the exterior. The wheel has a diameter of 591-feet and with space for 25 occupants in each carriage, will offer ample space for 900 sightseers at once.
The 'Seoul Ring' is set to be built on a former trash disposal site, which is now home to the Haneul Park ecological park where much of the trash from the city was previously dumped. The attraction is expected to offer rides to around 12,000 people each day with construction expected to be completed by 2027.
