The SENSE Thermal Camera is a handheld camera designed to be used by anesthetists during surgery. The camera has a thermometer inside of it and is handheld, allowing for quick and accurate temperatures to be taken during an operation.
Sticking a thermometer inside of someone's ear is an easy way to take someone's temperature, but it is a little hard to do when they are lying on an operating table with surgeons buzzing about. The SENSE Thermal Camera allows an anesthetist to record a patient's temperature with one hand, leaving the other hand free to assist in the operation if needed. The SENSE Thermal Camera was designed by Particle Design, previously featured on Trend Hunter for the Intel Link concept phone.
