Convention is not a great reason to stick with the familiar design of a common object -- a consideration that is raised by the Sektorus Watch. It maintains the circular face and the narrower strap, but the way that it presents the time of day is quite different to the usual dial.
The Art Lebedev Studio divided the face of the chronograph into four quadrants, only two of which are treated to transparent material over numerical markings. The left section is a scale of digits from 0 to 12 to represent the hours of the day and the right side illustrates the minutes per hour from 0 to 60. A single hand marks the former and a pair of hands indicate minute and second values in the latter quadrant.
The Sektorus Wristwatch includes a small circle at the bottom to present the calendar day, embedded beneath the colorful silicone band that consumes half of the dial.
