Sidewalk Pod Vehicles
The Camper Lotus
(Insert tongue firmly in cheek) The Camper Lotus is a zero-emission transportation device designed by Patty Yuan. She has conceived the notion that people aren't fat, don't need more exercise and sidewalks are plenty wide enough for her transport gizmo. She tweaked a Segway-like people mover to make it big enough to hold two passengers, with a roof to keep out wind, rain, and pigeon poop. It uses the same gyroscope technology as the Segway, and Yuan thinks it will be on the sidewalks in four years. If nothing else, this is a great video game concept.
