Synology has launched a pair of brand new weatherproof security cameras that make use of a host of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), not to mention broadened functionality through compatibility with surveillance video management mechanisms.
The 'BC500' and the 'TC500' weatherproof security cameras are more than capable of capturing video at a resolution of 2,880 x 1,620 at some 30 frames per second. Both cameras boast viewing angles of 110 degrees and night vision capability up to 30 meters. They're also fitted with advanced features such as vehicle detection, intrusion detection and a special search feature that lets users identify threats and access footage of interest.
Both these cameras happen to be adorned with IP67 water and dust resistance ratings, making them ideal for use in a variety of environments.
