While tattoo artists are quite talented at creating fine art, not all of them are able to translate this art into other mediums the way Scott Campbell can. In Campbell’s first art exhibition, ‘Make it Rain,’ the tattoo artist will showcase his papercut, sculpture, paintings, photography, and drawings.
As you can see from the gallery above, Scott Campbell’s artwork is heavily inspired by tattoos, and it’s precisely this edginess that makes each piece shine. I’m particularly taken with his immaculate papercut pieces made from books and dollar bills.
Scott Campbell is the owner of Saved Tattoo in New York City. His ‘Make it Rain’ exhibition will be at the O.H.W.O.W. Gallery in Miami from April 11.
