The Schwinn CycleNav Issues Audio Directions and Tracks Ride Data

The Schwinn CycleNav is a new gadget that aims to give bikers a sense of direction. The directional device links to your smartphone via Bluetooth and works using the CycleNav app. Using the app, you can program a route into the CycleNav, including waypoints. The device then directs you where to go using turn signals and audio commands. If you miss a command, you can simply press a button on the Schwinn CycleNav to hear it again.

In addition to telling you where to go, the CycleNav app keeps track of your ride statistics, including your distance, the length of your ride and how many calories you burned. The Schwinn CycleNav features a built-in headlight and has a battery life of 10 hours. It will be sold for $60 and will be released in spring 2014.
