Iconic Mustache Ads

A Series of Ads for Schick Razors Illustrate Instantly Recognizable Staches

A campaign for Schick Razors uses minimalist illustrations of famous mustachioed men in order to promote the shaving tools. The print ads prominently feature the facial hair of instantly recognizable real and fictional men. Each ad showcases a different iconic stache in beautiful monochromatic form.

From Dali's elegant mouth brow to Chaplin's iconic toothbrush mustache, the ads cover a wide range of facial hair. The Schick ads even include Mr. T's full beard and mustache. All of these famous face accouterments were created with basic geometric shapes without any color.

The manly and comedic ads were developed by ad agency JWT Manila for the Philippines. During this year's Cannes Lions Festival, the campaign was awarded a Gold Lion.
