Luxury watchmaker Grand Seiko is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its GMT line by launching a new limited-edition timepiece: the SBGC247 Chronograph GMT. The model is based on the brand's first-ever chronograph and features a traditional two-tone bezel GMT.
The luxurious new timepiece borrows and upgrades both the functional and aesthetic elements of Grand Seiko's original chronograph model. As a result, it comes equipped with a 43.5mm high-intensity case and bracelet and a Caliber 9R96 automatic that boasts an impressive 72-hour power reserve. Meanwhile, the watch's dial draws inspiration from the snow-clad landscapes that surround the Japanese studio where the piece was made.
For those interested, the SBGC247 Chronograph GMT will be released sometime next month but will be limited to just 700 total pieces.
