The Samsung Shortcut Sneaker has been designed by Roel van Hoff for the tech brand as a footwear style that would provide wearers with the ability to control their smartphone with their feet.
The sneezers are limited to just six examples, which are each equipped with sensors that can differentiate between natural everyday movements and intentional action commands thanks to artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The sneakers have five actions that can be mapped to your choice of smartphone control to, say, tap the heels together to call a specific contact, perform a shuffle to start playing a playlist and more.
The Samsung Shortcut Sneaker features a sleek yet simple construction that, at first glance, doesn't look out of place from other styles on the market; it's only upon close inspection and usage that their true form is revealed.
