Liz Black Shows Off Garments with Sample Size Measurements

Liz Black, a fashion writer, decided to collaborate with 'You Do You' in order to portray how non-universal sample size measurements are for the majority of the American female population.

In order to do this, she wore dresses that fit the sample size measurements for models, usually a zero to a two, draped over her body for an editorial. Lensed by Kristiina Wilson, the resulting images are humorous and informative at the same time.

With this editorial, Liz Black shows how wrong the representation of women in the media truly is, as she claims that her body size is relative to approximately 67% of US women, who are said to wear a size 14 or larger. The editorial therefore speaks to the non-inclusive nature of the fashion industry and combats it by comparing its standards to reality.
