Model Leanne Friel serves up some serious shade for photographer Natalie J. Watts in the Saffron Knight Fall 2011 lookbook. In image after image, Friel accents the frayed hemlines and asymmetry with a killer scowl and a piercing gaze that could cut through steel.
The Saffron Knight fashion featured is both bold and muted. Bold patterns get a futuristic edge with puffed-up shoulders and a pop of yellow; elsewhere in the lookbook, that same black-and-yellow pattern is dressed down with black leggings and a solid ink-black top. Jewelry and hairstyling are sparse, save a single statement accessory and the occasional sky-high bun.
