Another one of the new safety features is called a 'Smart Trip Check-in,' and it flags rides that are significantly delayed or have other irregularities. The last safety feature is that all Lyft drivers will attend a safety course, which is run by the group RAINN. Additionally, riders must agree to a set of Lyft guidelines, and those who do not follow the guidelines could be removed.
