Saboten's Tool Kit Features Three Different Tools

Saboten, a Japanese toolmaker, has recently released a set of gardening tools that won the 'Good Design Long Life Design Award.' The tool set consists of three different common gardening implements, all of which are harmonized around the same design traits.

The tools in Saboten's kit are a wide trowel, a transplanter, and a cultivator. The wide trowel is the ubiquitous garden tool used for scooping up earth, the transplanter is narrower and more precise (best used for picking up and relocating plants from one area to another,) and the cultivator is designed for aerating soil and removing weeds.

Each of the three tools comes with a similarly bright orange handle and base, designed such that a gardener will be able to spot them easily should they be left in the soil.
