My desire to buy a motorcycle is higher than ever after seeing the S-10 Helmet concept. Designed by Piers Storey, the S-10 Helmet concept is designed to be safe and stylish with its sleek white finish and penetration-proof shell.
While the S-10 Helmet concept is quite the looker, Storey made sure that the helmet would also deliver in the safety department where it mattered most. The S-10 Helmet features a removable inner lining made out of Koroyd, a material that has a shock absorption rate 80 percent higher than the EPS material currently used to line helmets. The lining on the inside of the helmet is removable so that the same helmet can be used for multiple riders, with the lining being the only part of the helmet that is actually sized. The vents of the helmet were designed to reduce hearing damage caused by air interfering with in-helmet radios and MP3 players.
Combine all of these safety features together with the look of this helmet and you've got a winning design on your hands. Here's hoping the S-10 Helmet hits shelves before I begin riding.
