'AMD,' the computer hardware and software company, announced the release of its next-generation of desktop processors, the 'Ryzen 7000' series. This series of processors follows the current-generation 5000-series, as well as the mid-generation 6000-series, marking the release of the fastest and highest-performing desktop processors on the market.
The release was announced through MSI, a hardware manufacturer and system integrator, that confirmed the release of the 7000-series cards by announcing its first collection of X670 and X670E motherboards which are designed for the Ryzen 7000 chips. According to MSI, its motherboards will release on September 15th, 2022, which will coincide with the release of the 7000s suite of Ryzen processors.
While many of the performance details surrounding the upcoming processor lineup has yet to be announced, AMD confirmed that its full-scale public unveiling will take place on August 29th, 2022.
