With the triumphant return of electronic music duo Daft Punk, the humble helmet is also enjoying its time in the limelight and the Ruby x Ill Studio Helmet series will help it stay there a little bit longer. It is a collection of motocycle head protectors that is much more stylish than the average ones out there. In place of tough but tacky biker designs or quirky modern ones, this collection offers a subtle speckled pattern that will appeal to both men and women.
Titled Valencia, the Ruby x Ill Studio Helmet series riffs off of three signature helmet shapes: Castel, Belvedere and Pavilion. Available in black or white versions, they are extremely limited edition. Led by designers Thomas Subreville and Leonard Vernhet, only 50 were made for the coveted collection.
